Tracing the Relationships Between Texts

Over the course of this semester in my Advanced Editing and Writing class we were assigned to read multiple articles at a time, in order to make connections between their meanings in relation to one another, so that we could create our own critical theories about how each article influenced one another, in our blog posts that were meant to analyze, synthesize and evaluate the authors messages. The more that I read multiple articles at once, I began to realize that I could effectively read each of the texts side by side and compare them to link connections between their ideas and theories, in order to interpret their meanings. The artcile below is my first Blog posts that explores the relationships between Frank D'Angelo's article The Rhetoric of Intertextuality and Grant Davies article Rhetorical Situations and Their Constituents in regards to David Biello's article The Green Apple: How can Citites Adapt to Climate Change.
